Job Description

Wallace & Wallace is Manitoba's leading fence, door and perimeter security builder and is looking for a full time Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. We manufacture chain-link, ornamental, and weld wire fences and gates.

Responsibilities:

• GMAW, SMAW, TIG welding steel, and aluminum, parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
• Work under the direction of the Shop Foreman to fit and weld various steel, and aluminum, parts, and materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Post-secondary and/or technical school education is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years fabricating/welding experience.
• Proficient in hand tools, horizontal bandsaw, ironworker, etc.
• Read, review and fabricate from blueprints, plans, shop drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced shop environment and under tight deadlines.
• Welding/Fabricating: 2 years (preferred).

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
